Deutsche Bahn board oks plans to buy Veolia's eastern European bus ops

BELGRADE (Serbia), March 22 (SeeNews) - The supervisory board of rail operator Deutsche Bahn (DB) has approved plans for the acquisition of Veolia Transdev's eastern European bus services, a DB group spokesperson told SeeNews in an email on Friday.
In February, Reuters reported, quoting people familiar with the matter, that DB had agreed to buy the business which comprises mostly urban bus operations and some intercity buses and school buses in countries including the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia.
