Evo gde se uklapa ovakav projekat na Dunavu na novom Putu svile :
"The Port of Constanta, Maritime Silk Road “European Eastern Gate” benefits from the same
conditions as the Port of Rotterdam in terms of water depth, handling and service for container carriers.
The Central Europe railway corridor and the Danube waterway have the same capacity as the Western Europe
railways and the Rhein waterway.
This “New Silk Road” passes through the Suez Canal and the Port of Constanta to various
Multimodal Logistic Center´s (MLC) saving the final customer transportation time and costs compared to
the existing routes via Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, Hamburg or another West European Port.
The Port of Constanta and DOE Europe SE agreed to cooperate to implement a project for the transportation of
goods in the annual volume of 1 million TEU via sea route from / to China (the Far East) to/from countries of
central and eastern Europe (possibly even western Europe) via port Constanta, by means of the Constanta – Danube canal."
