Belgrade - Due to the information published in the media, both in Serbian and abroad, according to which our product, the 122mm extended-range GRAD rocket has been used in the war in Ukraine, and in order to inform the public of the real situation, we state the following:
The enhanced 122mm GRAD rocket is one of the products of EDePro d.o.o., and it was tested as such and its characteristics were verified.
Because of the rocket’s significantly improved features, and taking into account the recent political climate worldwide, there is a considerable interest in acquiring this product. However, EDePro d.o.o. has never sold this rocket to countries in a state of war, and especially not to the countries participating in the war between Russia and Ukraine. We understand the severity of such a situation, given that Serbia had been at war in its recent history.
Company EDePro d.o.o. exclusively sold the mentioned rocket to domestic legal entities, which were entered as such in the Business Register of companies which can export these products. The buyers of the rocket, as the rocket’s owners, sold it further without our knowledge, influence and control in accordance with the licenses for the export of armaments issued by the Ministry of Internal and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Serbia.
Therefore, after delivering the product to the domestic buyer, we are no longer entitled and able to find out who is the actual end-user of the goods in question.
Taking into account the aforementioned, we believe that our company has been mentioned in the wrong context. Because of that, we consider it necessary to issue this statement and clarify the entire situation.
