Tužna činjenica da je ovo (zajedno sa svojim većim bratom ROMBUS-om) veoma dobar koncept, jer su oba SSTO (single stage to orbit) letelice koje se mogu koristiti više puta. Što ih nema? Upravljačka filozofija nase je slična mutiranom obliku kombinacije mrke i velje. Šta reći o kompaniji koja je obustavila proizvodnju saturna 5 za vreme prvih letova na mesec i zatim potrošila 40 godina dizajnirajući i upravljajući kantom zvanom šatl, da bi se sada vratili tamo gde su bili 1969? Mada i prilikom dizajniranja Ares-a I/IV/V je glavna briga bila kako ne otpustiti silno osoblje koje je zaposleno na programu šatla.
